Our Story Is Personal

Dream Publishers is not built around a theory of reinvention.

It comes from living it.

Founder Brett Simpson has spent decades moving between technology, entrepreneurship, music, poetry, writing, digital publishing, spirituality, business, and creative exploration.

He began building businesses online in the earliest years of the commercial internet and created digital ventures that generated hundreds of thousands of dollars over time.

But life did not move in a straight line.

There were different careers. New industries. Creative projects. Technology changes. Career changes. Periods of uncertainty. And eventually the same question many people face in midlife and beyond:

What comes next?

The answer was not to discard everything that came before.

It was to bring it together.

Dream Publishers grew from the realization that decades of seemingly unrelated experience in technology, entrepreneurship, writing, poetry, publishing, music production, creativity, spirituality, business, and life itself were not wasted chapters.

They were material.

That belief became even more tangible when severe water damage threatened decades of Brett's handwritten poetry, journals, drawings, music recordings and creative work. Thousands of pages representing a lifetime of thought and expression had to be recovered, scanned, and preserved.

It was a powerful reminder:

What we create can disappear if we never choose to preserve it.

Legacy is not an abstract idea to us.

It is the decision to give something inside you a form so it can continue to exist outside you.
